New Home Tour

I can’t believe we’ve been living in our new house for 3 months already! I totally underestimated how much time it would take to get settled I’m and do things like put up blinds, assemble furniture, and epoxy the garage floors. I thought it would be done within a week or two of living here, but something about this place just makes me want to relax. Check it out!

That last photo is a picture from our bedroom window. Isn’t it such a pretty view? The mountains light up red in the morning, reminding me of how blessed I am. There’s no better way to start each day!

The Park Vista Love Nest

Hello! Colby has been hogging up the computer for school work a lot lately, but I finally got my hands on it! It’s a beautiful Monday morning in Summerlin! 70 degrees and clear. In our new apartment we have sunshine coming in through the windows in the morning. It really gives me a positive outlook on the day when everything is bright and glowing. Colby and I spent the better part of Sunday napping, so I woke up super duper early today. I’m excited to finally show you a few iPhone snapshots of our new place!

First off, the kitchen:

We love our new apartment! It’s still a work in progress, but it’s looking pretty good for only being lived in for about three weeks. Thanks for checking it out!

Blogging without a computer

This blog is being created for the enjoyment of my sister, who is currently residing in Italy!

Back in Vegas, things are pretty dull. I’m just killing time at the Honda dealership and planning out the order in which I will run errands today. I got some free bottled water! This is good, since I’ve been downing at least 8 of these babies a day. Gotta stay hydrated, ya know?

Maybe I’ll include the exciting details of my errands throughout the day today! Just imagine- the intricacies of my haircut, jeans alteration, getting mail, depositing checks, and getting auto insurance for my husband! WOW! Or I’ll just spare you the details and show you pictures of what I’m eating today. Yeah, let’s go with that!
